The most basic form of the captain's uniform top is not very different between the two versions. The comic book version is made of form fitting spandex with muscle-shaped armored plating underneath it. The version used in the film is a modified military uniform top which has heavy body armor worn beneath.

Add-ons

When it comes to accessories and weaponry it is very important that one remembers that the graphic novel version of the character never once possessed a gun. In the film however the character is seen wearing a thigh mounted leather holster and regularly using a side arm.
