House Music Blog Making For The Aspiring Disk Jockeys

By Sheena Hernandez

Understanding the importance and the history is important before creating a house music blog. Last August 10, 2005, Richard M. Daley, The city mayor of Chicago made this date the official day where the people celebrate the twenty-first anniversary of house music. This genre is known to play at different bars, lounges or parties all over the country since 1980s.

There are different kinds of beats for this genre and each have their own unique style. They are the electro, diva, acid, Chicago, french, deep, ghetto, freestyle, italo, funky, hip, hardbag, Latin, rave, minimal, tech, US garage, UK hard, tribal, swing and vocal.

Turntables, drum machine, sampler, sequencer, personal computer and synthesizer are the different kinds of equipment used in creating an electric tune. The drum machine produces different drum and percussion sounds.

Sampler on the other hand is like a synthesizer but this device generates recorded sounds uploaded by the user. The turntable was the easiest to remember because it was always used by the DJs. The disc was either scratched or grooved while rotating to produce different sounds.

Use the music sequencer to record a sound, edit it then playing it in the form of digital audio. A synthesizer is a tool used to make different signals from frequencies. This tool appears to be like a piano or keyboard type and it has many switches and buttons.

To make your own blog, first you will need to design your web page. Make it as bold, colorful and fun for it to stand out. You need to supply fresh ideas and articles to feed your viewers and for them to keep coming back for more. The viewers also wants to know about the life and the works of the different DJs, so dedicate a space where you put all of their biographies.
