Learn to Play Guitar

You have always wanted to play guitar but you have not had the time. Taking lessons entails going to the music school or the private instructor at a particular time of the day and your hectic schedule does not permit that. In addition, going to a school or to a private instructor for your guitar lessons is costly and your budget does not permit it. You can learn to play guitar on your own, but that is difficult and tedious and you can lose interest easily.

You don't have to give up your dream of playing the guitar because of all of the possible set backs mentioned above. You can learn to play guitar without stress in the comfort of your own home.

With so many resources available today, you can learn to play guitar and keep that dream alive. There is a site that offers free guitar lessons. Learn about their free Tuesday night free guitar lessons starting at seven in the evening, Central Standard Time, through streaming video. His may be a great place to start beginner guitar lessons. This site is really free as there is no software to buy or clubs that need to be joined in order to take part in the lessons.

If your guitar does not sound right then you probably do not have it set up properly. The guitar can be set up by taking it to a professional guitar shop or you can set it up yourself. As a beginner you will certainly not know how to do this. You can get a set up course for less then it would cost you to have a professional set it up.

While you learn to play guitar you may also want to learn what style of guitar music you want to play. If you want to learn jazz you will learn to play a unique style of guitar music because jazz is dominate by the seventh chord and you will learn why. You may want to learn blues guitar which is the basis of all of the modern music styles. Perhaps you want to be a lead guitarist because you want to play solos. But no matter what style of guitar music you want to play, you first have to learn the basics of playing the guitar.
