I always wanted to learn guitar, but I never had the time to take it up. It wasn't until I had a breakup in my relationship and I was looking for something to fill the space with that I decided to take up the guitar. And boy am I happy that I did - if anything it's changed my life to the better, and has made me a great guitar player in the process!
These days I'd say that I'm mostly an intermediate level player. Since I started from scratch, I now regularly play with a number of groups that each play two different types of music. As well I get the chance to do what I love, and get to tour through the club scene and even though my breakup that had me start guitar was painful, have recently been dating someone who I think is the perfect girl - and what's even better is that she loves my type of music even more than I do.
When I was first looking at the Jamorama Guitar Lesson system, I was anxious about buying it. I always have apprehension about buying anything on the internet, because it has a reputation for not always having the best products. When I did some investigation, and found that it had a solid 60 day money back guarantee backed up by Clickbank, I was fine with trying out the purchase. I've purchased clickbank products before, and on the occasional time when I've had to do a return, never had any hassle with it whatsoever.
After buying the Jamorama guitar lesson system, I set aside a specific amount of time to practice to get as good as I could. It was important to me to become a good guitar player, and setting aside time definitely helped me focus on what I was doing.
Starting off with Jamorama, there's a lot of useful information to digest, however it's all very useful. There are beginner, intermediate, and advanced sections, and they're all quite helpful in determining what the best options are in moving forward with a guitar lesson program. I highly recommend the DVDs, and can say that I think they're a great option for learning on.
As I've been working on the Jamorama Guitar Lesson system for a few months now, and am at the intermediate level, I've got to say that it hasn't disappointed me. I'm still learning as I go through, and there's definitely enough to keep me interested. A lot of times I've purchased a book or program, only to find out that when I got further through it, it wasn't as exciting as it was before. Here I haven't been disappointed.
I'm looking forward to some of the advanced lessons - I'm personally not quite up to that skill level yet, however I've shown some of the advanced lessons to some of the guys in my gigging groups, and even though they've been playing guitar for years and don't seem like the type that still have anything to learn, they picked up a copy for themselves to practice at home.
Overall, I've been happy with my purchase. I credit it for taking me from 0 to semi-hero as a guitar player, and following the system has definitely made me the guitar player I am today.
