Italian Pop Singers And Their Music

Worldwide pop music is great to listen to, and one will learn all about different cultures at the same time. They can hear the native languages and get immersed in the music and speech as well. One fun type of pop music to listen to is Italian pop music. Italian pop singers are wonderful to listen to, and there are many to try.

Laura Pausini is a popular singer in Italy. She emerged in the charts in 1993 with her hit single, 'La Solitudine'. It became a hit that made it to the beginning of the Italian Singles Chart. It made the top 10 in France and the Netherlands as well.

Alice Visconti sings and plays piano as well. She debuted at the Sanremo Music Festival singing her song 'Per Elisa'. She then went on to represent Italy in 1984 at the Eurovision Song Contest, with 'I Treni Di Tozeur'. She has added the styles of jazz, ambient music, electronica, and classical to her sound.

Marco Carta is pretty new in the pop music scene. He was in the show Amici di Maria De Filippi in 2007, and won the competition in 2008. He also won 300,000 euros and a contract from Warner Music Italy. He sold over 350,000 albums back in 2009, and over 150,000 singles.

In-Grid is a songwriter, singer, and dancer. She was named after the famous actress Ingrid Bergman. In-Grid is best known for her smash club hit 'Tu es Foutu', or 'You Promised Me'. Her latest album was named Lounge Musique.

These are only some of the musicians in Italy that can be sampled. Their music has been on international singles charts, broken records, and more.
