I purchased these headphones for work to shut out the noise from some of the adjacent cubicles. They stick out a complete 2 inches from your ears. One "con" is the fact that these headphones are very big, as in measure about 2" out from your face and that is how far these stand out. Cant wait to use them with an approaching red eye flight, I may use these headphones all day long without getting drained so I suggest them. They compare with designs $100 to $200 more, so I would extremely recommend! So I can't complain and neither can you. I am a girl with long hair, and my hair doesn't get caught on anything and that is an enormous plus to me too.
General I would say these headphones are horrible.
And don't think these provide great bass response.
These headphones are extremely comfy. I was looking specifically for over-head rf wireless headphones to help dampen the noise in the environment sometimes. If you simply want something to listen to casually, go on and buy these. The sound is crisp and clear. I'm not sure much about headphones, apart from they have to sound great and fit comfortably. They are most likely one of the most comfortable supra-aural infrared wireless headphones available, especially in this budget range.
Noisy (obviously, I've had these for more than a year so that is to be anticipated). I must use them with a rag of shirt on top of my head for padding since the excess weight of the headphones causes straps to cut into my scalp, really miserable. These headphones have an extra long cord (description says 3.3 feet but mine came with 11 feet). N disappointed with the quality of sound, specifically for the cost. The foam padding is extremely comfortable and I often put them on to sleep, seeing how the stop external noise quite well. The sound is remarkably great for such an affordable set of headphones. There is not much distinction between these and my Sennheiser 555 was a gift. They are not portable whatsoever, but overall excellent for the cost and they are excellent headphones. Odds are your Music player or PC sound card will run out of energy before these run out of bass handling capability.
They're truly comfy too. Fantastic pair of headphones. I had been very pleased with the cord length too becasue it is really long and I could possibly get up and walk off to a large part of the room if I need to.
