Launching The Fresh AV Receivers From Yamaha

By Aiden Smith

It may seem complicated when one goes to check out the latest top of the range Yamaha AV receivers. There are many different styles available with some offering upgraded 3D compatibility but also the ease of use.

With some of the newer features available such as extra and upgraded HDMI inputs and some offering an additional port for 3D use, these are becoming popular in many homes. The receivers begin at a low price and can go up from there with options for speakers or other added equipment.

Some of the other new versions are including auto room calibration, allowing for a more detailed room analysis. This allows for better placement of speakers for optimal sound experience. HDMI ver. 1.4 may also be featured and supports optimal audio return over HDMI.

There are some models that are not scheduled to be release until July that make many new features available as well as upgraded versions of the ones previously mentioned. Some of the features listed are the latest formats of Dolby and DTS sound that allows for better Blu-ray sound quality, video up conversion for analogue to HDMI, ARC video Support, up scaling from optional sources such as DVD, and two room zoning that allows for sound from one source to not interfere with sound from another location. This offers excellent surround sound for two rooms watching different things with one base.

Many people have already invested in an IPod or IPod dock that allows for home use. Several of the newer models are coming out with features that work with the newest version of the IPod dock. This will allow for surround sound while the IPod is connected to the receiver.

Several versions are available with a wide range of features. These come standard depending on the model and can be used with many of the other devices that you may already own. With devices such as video game systems, DVD players, and speakers, these receivers offer a quality sound upgrade to work with them.
