All kids want to have a chance to audition for Disney shows Child actors and actresses who made it big got their start on shows on the Disney Channel such as High School Musical. Even pop stars like Britney Spears got her start on the Mickey Mouse Club which was on the Disney Channel.

Here is how to get an audition for Disney for your child and what to fully expect at a casting call.

Casting calls for Disney are not any different from any casting calls for children. Be sure to ace the Disney audition by following these tips. Be certain that you and your child actor/actress is at least 15 minutes early. For open casting calls, you need to arrive much earlier so that you will one of the first people to see the casting directors. Casting directors are human too and will get really tired by the end of the day and not be as focused.

Keep in mind that auditions and casting calls for your kid can be very stressful. Reassure your child by letting them know what to expect. It could be quite possible that some Disney casting calls are closed auditions, meaning that the kid cannot have the parent or other people with him in the room as they are auditioning. Let your child act naturally at Disney casting calls and I am sure that they will do fine. Remember that it is your child that is auditioning so let them take the reins on this one. If you are nervous and scared, your kid will be the same way so try to stay calm.

Children learn things really fast and if they are into acting, that is something that can jumpstart that interests.
