America's Got Talent Castings

By Cherise Jordan

I have been on America's Got Talent before and unfortunately didn't win, but I will show you how I got past the auditions. My best friend is also a casting director and they told me what other casting directors look for in these types of auditions. Keep reading to find out exactly what I am talking about. First I pre-registered on America's Got Talent so that I could be qualified. I started the process on the America's Got Talent website and went from there. This is an important step to pre=register or else you cannot be part of America's Got Talent. You'll hear from America's Got Talent about open casting calls in your area where you can perform in fromt of the casting directors. Make sure you bookmark the website AuditionFree.com because they have up-to-date casting calls for America's Got Talent.

Now that you've got an invitation to the America's Got Talent audition, pay attention to these steps. If you have a scheduled audition, make sure you are at least 20 minutes early to the place.

If it is an open casting call available to everyone, you should arrive much earlier than that to get a good place in line. You can also keep your eye on some talent agencies that you may be interested in.

You'll have to fill out some more forms and paper work so make time for that by arriving early. You may also want to come prepared with a doctor's release form and personal release form. Also don't forget 2 forms of ID and you have to be a resident of the US. You'll have a list of Reality show auditions if you fill out this quick form. The final piece of advice is to not forget to smile and be friendly to everyone you meet. I wish you the best of luck with your America's Got Talent casting call.
