Ever since the release of the first movie franchise of the most awaited The Hunger Games Trilogy, it became a blockbuster and the talk of the town. Fans were super thrilled as the release date was approaching and could not help but dig some more insider information about the film and the leading actors' private lives. Even I, as a book fan, was actually excited and looking forward to the movie franchise. This write-up will be The Hunger Games review wherein I will share my thoughts and opinions about the book and the movie as well.
This brilliant book written by Suzanne Collins depicts a television show in which every district of future America will have a female and male tribute to gather and fight each other to death until only one will remain the victor. Katniss Everdeen from District 12 volunteered herself, in behalf of her younger sister, as the female tribute from her district. On the other hand, a boy named Peeta Mellark of the same district was picked as the male tribute that eventually became the love interest of Katniss and made the story more complicated.
The book has left a great consciousness among book fanatics. The Hunger Games book series is a science-fiction combined with breathtaking adventures plus the love triangle between characters totally made the story more captivating. For females, especially teens and young adults, who like movies with romantic twists - The Hunger Games is the best book for them.
The Hunger Games book has gained a positive reception. Everyone who has read it felt that it was brilliantly written, and who wouldn't? The plot is very original and it also tackles controversial issues like poverty, inequality of social status, and freedom. It is not a surprise that affirmative The Hunger Games reviews have also circulated online.
The enormous success of the book was also the triumph experience by the movie edition. The odds are absolutely in favour of The Hunger Games phenomenon. Even people who haven't read the book were pretty excited and fascinated too to know what trend was all about after which they gave their good feedbacks and posted them on various social networking sites and blogs. Even I come across through several The Hunger Games reviews that I found on different websites on the internet.
The movie definitely didn't disappoint the audiences. I was hooked and thrilled with each scene. The visual effects were riveting. The action scenes were heart-pounding. Watching the splendour and the eccentricity of the Capitol was very enjoyable. The movie, which runs for two hours and ten minutes, never had any dull moment.
However, there were notable differences between the book and the film adaptation. The character development was lacking and some scenes that I have been waiting for were not shown. For instance, the film did not highlight that the mutts were actually the genetically-altered bodies of the dead tributes.
In general though, the film adaptation of The Hunger Games series was a sensation thanks to the book's charisma plus the effortful advertisement and affirmative remarks from The Hunger Games reviews that were spread online. I am mostly sure that right after the film was released people could not hide their excitement for the next movie chapter of The Hunger Games book series.
