Sebastian Luciano's Tips on Getting Rid of Performance Anxiety

By Stephen Lott

Finally, you landed a gig at your nearby club, but in addition, it's your very first performance also. You get nervous and have huge amounts of anxiety. You think about it and ask yourself things like "will I play well?" or "am I ready?" and even "what do I wear?".

Relax, you're not the only person who thought like that. Many highly praised performers like Peter Frampton and Sebastian Luciano were in your situation when they began their life as a music artist. They got over it. That is why you got to force yourself to go ahead. You just require a number of wonderful bits of information to help you out.

A step to take is taking a hold of your breathing. Personally, your voice is like a wind instrument. Bigger breathing can heighten a bigger percentage meaning a cooler singing voice. Find some exercises that specifically target fine breathing. Do this regularly, and it will be like a normal part of your routine.

Constantly train yourself on your preferred instrument. When you have time during or after school, bring up your instrument and practice as much as frequently as you can. Guitarist Sebastian Luciano takes the extra time in his daily life to work on his craft and stay well trained.

Do some practice before a small crowd before the gig and be sure to be open to criticism. Probably if you find some positive criticism, you can use it to focus on what you require. Also, you can save yourself from embarrassment while performing on the stage.

Sure, you will be a little queasy before you head on stage before a crowd and/or your friends/family. But this is sort of common for performers like you and performer Sebastian Luciano. Yet, with these pointers, you can be lesser nervous than before.
