Hunger Games Dominating the Box Office

By Jennifer Smith

LionsGate, undoubtedly, couldn't be more happy with the good results of The Hunger Games at the box office. They have been dominating cinemas across the country since its launching night on March, 23, 2012.

It's been estimated that The Hunger Games movie brought it nearly $200million dollars worldwide in only its first weekend. The Hunger Games movie cast has managed to stay on top of the charts for its second week in a row with its third very closely in sight.

A Hunger Games movie review has recently stated there is very little doubt that The Hunger Games movie will quickly beat out the American Pie Reunion set to start on Friday.

There is no doubt that every Hunger Games movie review on the net today is praising the work of LionsGate and Suzanne Collins. It is not always successful taking a best-selling novel and adapting it for the big screen. But with the involvement of the author herself in the adapted screenplay it was sure to be a success.

Many Twilight fans were shocked to see their favorite book series blown out of the water by The Hunger Games' success but reviewers were certainly not. What makes The Hunger Games movie different from other teen flicks is the story; it's realistic. When you can put yourself in the place of the Hunger Games movie cast and really get involved it makes all the difference.

Currently, this best-selling movie of the season is going to be a powerful competition for any other movie that will be launched onto the market. I can't forget to point out that Titanic 3D is going to be released this weekend too and there's little hope for it to compete with this international trend. Needless to say it is bound to be beaten at some point but for now The Hunger Games movie has stolen the limelight from any new releases in the foreseeable future.
