Having a high-end studio nowadays isn't just about getting expensive microphones and playing in a soundproof area, with today's software systems ?all you really need is a laptop and a transcribing device so you can record your track on it. There is a lot of guitar software package out there that can fulfill your need to create a virtual music studio on your desktop or inside a fairly powerful computer system.

Cubase and Fruit Loops are great for bands that want to get their tracks recorded without having to deal with crippling expenses from working with a traditional recording studio. This recording software also contain certain tracks like drum loops that help you build up a drumbeat without the need of lugging a whole drum set around your home just to record it.

Guitars are harder to emulate in terms of recording software out there, sure there are some instance where it can sound like a distorted electric guitar, but people can always tell. There may be free software out there for your guitar software, but it might be a good idea to invest in paid versions to unlock the more high-end features of the program. Though they cost money to buy and license, this alternative is thriftier than sitting in a studio to get your tracks lay out for a prospective EP or a whole album.
