A True Superstar, the Memory of Michael Jackson Lives on

For several decades, Michael Jackson altered the face of music for people with varying tastes in music.Since his days in the Jackson 5 to his emergence as a solo artist, Michael, also known as the King of Pop, showed off singing and dancing skills that were quickly emulated by people in all parts of the world.Such was the strong influence of his music and image that he became an icon for both musicians and listeners alike.Several musical artists cite him as a major influence in their work, and many of them even show off moves that are heavily influenced by his trademark steps.

Nowadays, you would hardly find a household without one of his many albums, as well as a Michael Jackson tee, picture, poster or other memorabilia.Die-hard fans have even gone as far as to bypass a Michael Jackson tee to put together costumes reminiscent of his music video outfits, with the respective choreography to boot.Aside from his successful career, he also became noteworthy for supporting underprivileged children and environmental causes, issues which he brought to light in many of his most famous singles.

Despite the overwhelming positive attention that he was constantly getting, Michael was not exempted from the harshness of criticism and public outrage.Devoted fans of the King of Pop, however, encouraged him to continue to make music, despite all of the problems that he faced.

On June 29, 2005, the entire world mourned his untimely death, which occurred way before a scheduled sold-out farewell tour “This Is It”.The love and support that his family received from fans proved how much his life and his craft changed the lives of people.

Even in death, the King of Pop’s popularity never wavered, which was apparent in massive album sales, as well as availability of memorabilia like Michael Jackson tees and posters.By breaking barriers with his unique style of music, Michael Jackson made a huge impact on the lives of people.
