Sony Bumpers - Wireless Headphones For Computer Review

By Jayden Martinez

I purchased those to substitute a set of Koss headphones I had for several years. Just to listen to music in my pc without have to spend an excessive amount of with noise cancelling phones. I purchased another pair since the left ear went in and out. The 10' cord is a big plus but I believe the "sound mode" function is worthless. I just received these a couple of hours ago and I could tell the moment I took them from the package deal that they're very cheaply made. Got these for video editing and they are perfect. As the image shows, the muff that covers your ears is very large--not extremely fashionable, but this is exactly what I believe makes it work so nicely with hearing aids. We just float off to the gorgeous sounds from the "ear surround sounds" of Sony!

I've had mine for three days now and I need to give sony credit for making extremely comfy and lightweight headphones. I suppose for those who have a large head it shouldn't be that bad.

The ear padding is large enough to surround my ear and it is comfortable. Previously I've owned Koss Pro4s, Sennheisers, other Sonys. They are great for the cost. I got these so I could watch movies/listen to songs with my roommate in the room (also my laptop computer speakers are crap). Excellent set of headphones for mixing & brings out good quality of sound for everyday use of listening to music and watching films. Nice choice for this price.

While I am certain that it'll get many bad reviews from Audiophiles out there that any under $500.00 group of headphones would.

Specifically for the cost, I'm pleased with what I have. These headphones are excellent!

They're really big, the speakers rival how big a lemon or small orange might look. For 20 dollars I can not complain.

For that first twenty minutes the headband was uncomfortable, I quickly realized you simply tilt it back just a little and not only do the oversized cups fit better still, you cannot feel the headband.

I wear these headphones for 9-10 hours daily at the office and they are great. But frankly, if that's your primary purpose, why would you use circumaural headphones to begin with? Volume reaction at every frequency is neutral and even. I've had these for just two days and I can say they're very uncomfortable. They sound great and they are extremely comfortable! This can be annoying if you're constantly changing positions, or even lying down. So loud that I hear when the music stops is really a loud ringing in my ears.
