The Story Of The Ford Dealer Twin Cities

By Elnora Brock

In the early 1900s in a small building in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Ford Motor Company's rise to fame began, which has now led to an excellent Ford dealer Twin Cities. Less than 100 employees made the Model T with just the simple tools they had on hand. Now, nearly 100 years later, The Company's employees number over 2,000 and work in top of the line manufacturing.

A large number of the 2,000 workers go to work each day at the assembly plant in St. Paul. The Ranger, North America's best selling compact truck, is made at the St. Paul assembly plant. Since the assembly plant opened its doors in the mid 1920s, an astounding seven million vehicles have been manufactured.

Once referred to as the Tin Lizzie or just T, the famous Model T was made from around 1908 until the end of 1927. The Model T is considered by many to be the vehicle that made travel both popular and accessible. It did these things by being the best-priced automobile around.

Automobile companies were making different models of vehicles at the time the Model T came out. None of these other models or automobile brands, however, even came close to the massive following the Model T gained with Americans. They targeted the vehicle to both individual drivers and, more importantly, families.

The reason the company is as large and well known as it is today is due to their cutting-edge construction methods. Methods that include creative safety materials and features, some that are found on vehicles now, as well as the famous assembly line technique that made it what it is. Henry established the Company in the early 1900s with only a small amount of cash and a dream.

The creative ideas thought up by the Company shape not only automobile travel but transportation as a whole. Those lucky enough to be rich and powerful were the only ones who once were able to travel and move as they wished, that is until the T was conceived. Mass production techniques like the assembly line, have been spread all over the world's industries and have an effect on your Ford dealer Twin Cities ford dealer Twin Cities
