Superman the movie is a nineteen seventy eight classic movie depicting a super hero. The film is sometimes referred to as just superman. The film is based on a comic book with the same name. The film played a major role in reemergence of the super hero films and science fiction movies.
The film begins on planet krypton. Three surrectionist are sent by the elders to the eternal living death. Jor El a scientist on planet krypton advices the council of elders that kryptons doom was near. He fails in his bid as the council believes that his claims are just mere claims.
In his bid to save his infant Jor El sends his son in a space craft to planet earth. Planet earth is a far way planet with favorable conditions. Ka El, Jor Els son is structured with a dense molecular structure giving him super natural abilities. Krypton eventually explodes destroying everything and everyone in it.
Three years after his departure from krypton Ka El arrives with the space craft on planet earth. He lands on a farming town and is taken custody by one of the local families. The family raises him as their own biological son. The family names Ka El as Clark Kent. Clark grows into a hard working young man working with his guardian parents on the farm.
Clark Kents guardian father dies eighteen years after his arrival from krypton. Clark receives psychic calls, this calls instruct him to move to the arctic. In his call he sees a green crystal. The crystal builds into the fortress of solitude which resembles planet krypton. On the fortress Clark receives teaching from his father about his powers, origin and his responsibilities. He is taught how to use his powers and how to control these super natural powers.
Twelve years later Clark leaves the fortress and works as a journalist at a local media house. There Clark meets Loise Lane a fellow work mate and starts to develop romantic feelings towards her. Loise gets involved in an accident and can not be rescued through convectional means. These forces Clark to use his super natural abilities for the first time publicly in order to rescue her.
Clark flies Loise and even offers to grant her an interview. In the interview Loise names him superman. While all this is happening Lex Luther is developing a plan to sink a great city. This is in an attempt to increase the value of his desert. Since he knows Clark will not have any of it he lures him and exposes him to kryptonite which weakens him.
Clark is rescued by Lex aides . Clark sets off to stop this plots. Loise is caught up in the after wave the debris fall on her and she dies.this happens as Kent tries to save the world. These makes Clark a dejected man, Clark decides to turn back the wheels of time as he tries to save Loise. This is contrary to Jo Els teachings. Superman the movie is simply a superb work of art and a must watch.
