Winston Rodney widely known as Burning spear is undoubtedly one of the most successful Jamaican musician. Burning Spear CDs are found all over the world and are loved by many. His genre of music is reggae and the message is usually about brotherhood, peace and love. Most of his CDs have been ranked highly on top charts. Apart from being a prowess musician, he is also a reggae preacher as well as an historian.

Marcus Garvey left a great legacy in Jamaica that later on burning spear come up with a sensational album in honor of the legendary. Messages of oppression and freedom are expressed in the album with melodies so great that the songs topped charts in other parts of the world. This album made Burning Spear an instant hero as all his other albums seem to derive something from his great Marcus Garvey. Winston Rodney was responsible for all the lyrics in Marcus Garvey.

He still produces best music to date and his latest CD is the Appointment With his Majesty. The album is filled with strong lyrics that carry messages of spirituality and praises. The horn beat is smoothened to march with the other instruments. It comes as his best after Marcus Garvey due to the energy that is felt it the songs.

Rasta Business is another of his work of art. He talks highly of the reggae founders who he says are his Majesty followers. History is featured extensively giving account of how reggae come to be and should be. This is indeed a collection you might want to have.

Among his legendary studio works is the creation Rebel. He acknowledges that he hails from the roots and was born in a parish. This shows him as a deeply religious man who rarely shy off his background. Although this collection did not top the charts but it really has the best rhythm especially for die-hard reggae fans.

Live in Paris singles out as the best in video performance. The shooting scene is set to seem as if it was a live performance somewhere in the city of Paris. The unique shooting feature has attracted so many of his fans to watch the videos over and over again.

Calling Rastafarian is an album that appreciates in value every year. It has matured to qualify as a best classical that will always be sang whenever there are reggae fans. This is due to the strong message that it carries about reggae followers.

Mr. Winston also produced songs that are classic nowadays. A classic example of such songs is contained in the Make We Do it CD. The songs have been very consistent in the music industry with long lasting test and adds medal to his discography. Looking at the chief song I Make We do it from Burning Spear CDs, it portrays the artist as convincing and able to move masses through music. Incredible staff, he is really outstanding. His other albums are Man in the Hills, Dry and Heavy and the list goes on.
